SOUTHSIDE REHABILITATION ASSOCIATION

About us

SRA, (Southside Rehabilitation Association) is a registered Charity providing vital support and training for people suffering with mental ill health. The charity aims to de-stigmatise mental health, to empower and enable their trainees to become more socially and financially included as well as improving health and wellbeing and promoting recovery. SRA run 3 social enterprises to give people real experience in a working environment. Services include professional, top quality printing, catering and cleaning services all provided to local businesses and residents around south east London. Our catering team cook a 2 course lunch for around 40 people every day which is provided free to all our trainees. We work to improve many skills such as timekeeping and concentration as well as promoting mental health awareness and social inclusion.

This great half marathon starts at Tower Bridge, passes through the boroughs of Southwark, Tower Hamlets and Lewisham and finishes in Greenwich. You can support us by donating through the Enthuse website or pop into our offices in West Norwood or Camberwell where you can meet some of our trainees and staff and also see the work we do to support people.

We are all training hard to run or walk this Half Marathon and would appreciate any support you can give.  For more information please visit our website www.sra-ltd.co.uk or the Big Half website at: www.thebighalf.co.uk.
